Travel and Information Center Suppa

The Information Center Suppa is located at the unique ridge area right at the core of the Rokua Geopark. The national park with its beautiful hiking trails is our neighbor. Suppa has info available about the Geopark area.

Stop by to have coffee and a pastry at the café or make findings in Suppa Shop that sells local quality handicrafts, souvenirs and Geopark- and national park products.

Suppa hosts a permanent exhibition: Rokua – an island that the sea abandoned. It is possible to request a guide for the exhibition. In addition to the permanent exhibition there are also changing exhibitions.

Lodging

The Information Center Suppa has cabins, vacation houses and other lodging available for rent for Rokua, Oulujärvi, Oulujoki, Kiiminkijoki and Hailuoto area.

Programs and catering

Besides traveling information and lodging Suppa also offers program and catering. On order we will arrange dining in the nature and in Laplander’s hut and also geopark-tours. Through them you can also order the partners’ high quality products.

Suppa’s online reservation system gives you easy access to making reservations for accomodation and different activities 24 hours a day.

School camps

The Information Center Suppa is the place to contact when you’d like to make a reservation for Rokua Geopark excursions and school camps. The northernmost  Geopark of the World offers diverse setting to get familiar with the legacy of the ice age.

Facilities for celebrations and events

The facilities at Suppa are available for rent for meetings, events and celebrations. The hall fits 50 guests and meeting room 20 guests. Catering and coffee is included with the services.
